Money Smart Week – April 22-29 – helps consumers manage their personal finances better. Throughout the week, many events in Vermilion County will teach financial literacy. A FREE community shred day will be held on April 22, at the Center for Loss & Healing from 9 a.m.-noon. Bring your personal documents, financial statements and sensitive information to be shredded on-site for free!
EPFCU is sponsoring an event – CRIS Money Smart Seniors – on Wednesday, April 26 at the CRIS Healthy Aging Center. Various speakers will present on topics such as estate planning, identity theft and community resources. Call (217) 446-0777 for details and to RSVP.
